This firm proudly represents queer people in legal situations that can be difficult to navigate. This firms works to ensure that all lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex individuals can enjoy equal rights, personal autonomy, and freedom to be who they identify to be. The queer community has a long history of discrimination, and unfortunately the law has not provided queer people with the ability to enjoy lives free of societal discrimination. While, progress has been made in the courts of law regarding some issues, there is much more work to do!
Attorney Davis’ was instrumental in a significant two year legal battle, which successfully struck down a tribal-DOMA law and rectified tribal discrimination against queer people on the federal tribal reservation.
